    MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS
    WE MUST CONSTANTLY REMIND OURSELVES….!!!!
“Political Power is held only for a fleeting moment in the history of man, and it is necessary to keep constantly in mind that while you hold such power you are still a human being, even if you see yourself as a Demi-God, and that one day you will return to life as an … See moreordinary mortal, and you will then have cause to remember that while you held power, you abused and misused it and trampled upon the rights of others. history, time, and posterity are very HARSH JUDGES, and we can only wait to see how our actions yesterday will be Judged.

It is very sad that we continue to pay lip-service to all these lofty and high sounding precepts about equality before the Law, and no Sacred Cows, and justice for all no matter what, separation of powers etc. etc, but what we do in practice is just the opposite, and we should be ashamed of ourselves….”

As Humans and then as Christians we are not to be hasty in making negative judgments on others. It is a dangerous procedure because it invites a similar judgment in return. And it is a difficult procedure because our own faults make it hard for us to see precisely what is amiss in others. God is not, of course, forbidding all judgments; He is warning against the hasty condemnations we are so easy to make…SJS

      WITH HINDSIGHT
If some of us should take a few seconds or minutes of our time to read the review of ELECTIONS in SIERRA LEONE since 1957, http://africanelections.tripod.com/sl.html you will be very amazed at the tabulation of events. We Sierra Leoneans and nobody else have been the master of our decay and tribulations that has befallen us and continues to hunt us as a nation.
I do believe sincerely we need a CHANGE to FAST-TRACK our democracy to meet modern trends and demands. No more need for COMPLACENCY and MEDIOCRITY. It is not helping the country, but rather worsening and aggravating the present situation. We need all hands on deck for a UNITED DEMOCRACY not a FRAGMENTED POLITICS based on partisan-ism, tribalism and sectionalism…WE NEED A PARADIGM SHIFT FROM THE OLD GUARDS AND FROM THEIR WAYS WHICH HAS NOT BEEN BENEFICIAL TO THE PEOPLE AND THE COUNTRY AT ALL……There are many brains wasting because of intimidation by circumstances, the many bullies and advantages taking place in our society. This has been the strategy by the politicians to keep CHANGE AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE…Everything has an end and GOD is on our side as a Nation…The wicked shall be removed from the face of the earth by the hands of the Almighty, in only him we have dedicated this course into his CUSTODY FOR A NEW SALONE…
IT IS GOING TO BE WELL- AMEN

We want Change, We cry for Change, But yet we do Not Have the Zeal or Appetite for a Change; Mind You Not Everything That Is Faced Can Be Changed, But Nothing Can Be Changed Until It Is Faced; Action and Reaction, ebb and flow, trial and error, Change – this is the rhythm of living. Out of Our Over-Confidence, Fear; Out of Our Fear, Clearer Vision, Fresh Hope. And Out of Hope, Progress. If you don’t like Something, Change It. If you Can’t Change It, Change Your Attitude And Stop Complaining….

My Vision and hope is to make the future generation equipped with the knowledge and skills that are necessary for them to be at level with their counterparts in the most advanced countries of the world. We must make it a priority to develop standards In ICT which specifies minimum requirements that should be adhered to by governments organizations and businesses to ensure consistency in practices, projects, procurements and outsourcing for security and development. “MANPOWER EMPOWERMENT STRATEGY FOR JOB CREATION”….

We should enter the world of science and technology aggressively, and at the same time preserve our cherished cultural heritage and values which is what we seek to promote and sustain. We are in an era in which the world is equipped with a deep knowledge and enthusiasm about ICT technology. We should think more of the future and our children and reminding ourselves of where would we be in ten years’ time? We should create for the future generation an enabling environment where technology could be used for good governance, transformation of the society, thereby creating hope where there seem to be no hope, upholding a high standard of moral and ethical social life. This is the only way we can give back to the youths and many others an opportunity through ICT the life they were denied…SJS

GOOD AND EVIL-HE OR SHE THAT HAVE NOT SINNED OR HAVE BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS, LET THEM CAST THE FIRST STONE!
Why is it easier to think of evil examples than good ones? Is it much easier to do something big and bad than it is to do something big and good?
Due to the complexity of our human personalities the fact remains that goodness and evilness depend on the perspective of the time. No one, I repeat, NO ONE, is born either purely good or purely evil. As humans, we are all born with the potential to perform acts of both great goodness or great evil. At birth, we are all “blank slates,” and our lives and experiences end up drawing on this slate, molding us into the people we will ultimately become. People who have warm, loving parents who teach them openness and love will naturally become more open, loving people than people who are brought up to hate. My point is, it is futile to try to put a label of good or evil on any individual, as everyone is capable of acts of both good and evil, and nearly everyone tries to do the right thing based on their own both local and worldview, which is different from person to person.

Instead, we should judge the ACTS that people commit as good or evil, since those are somewhat easier to put a label on when it is based on a situation evolving lacking the respect for the rule of law. Judge the action, not the person.

    MY MOMENTS OF MOTIVATION
    One Hundred Years From Now…
One Hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house you lived in…
What kind of car you drove……
    What`s your bank balance was……
But what will matter is that you were important in the life of a child.

Being a man or a woman is a matter of birth. Being a man or a woman who makes a difference is a matter of choice. When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.

It is only through the eyes of others do you see yourself. It is only through the work of your own do you find the difference in others….

MY CONCERN IS SIERRA LEONE NOT AFRICA OR THE WORLD:-Our Singular Efforts and Contribution Keeps Humanity Alive. It is the pieces that makes the aggregate in economics jargon. The journey must start somewhere for everyone of us. The bible teaches us to fix first the problem in our eyes before we can complain about others. Let us rebuild our country and then go and Build Others With Our Capacity….SJS

    Tags: POLITICS AND OUR DEMOCRACY

I have no doubt that the dawn of destroying one person to each other just to get ones favour or the other is taking roots into our main stream politics. But what is so disappointing is the calibre of people who are involved and the type of attacks that are being poured out on the victims. Nevertheless we should be mindful of the fact that our stable democracy will be meaningless unless it is devoid of antagonistic and abusive attacks on each other…May God Help Us and Our Beloved Nation Sierra Leone…

WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO PUT OLD WINE IN NEW BOTTLES! LONTA
As Sierra Leoneans, we must first restore our DIGNITY and SOVEREIGN INTEGRITY in a new paradigm shift from the old ways and school of negative thoughts which has only brought us shame, misery and decay. We must empower the people by given equal right to opportunities including education, shelter, health, business and entrepreneurship for a FAST-TRACK TRANSFORMATION for our fortunes, progress and development….TIME IS NOT OUR BEST FRIEND….YES WE CAN…

      QUOTE:- DR KWAME NKRUMAH
“We know that the traditional African society was founded on principles of egalitarianism. In its actual workings, however, it had various shortcomings. Its humanist impulse, nevertheless, is something that continues to urge us towards our all-African socialist reconstruction. We postulate each man to be an end in himself, not merely a means; and we accept the necessity of guaranteeing each man equal opportunities for his development. The implications of this for socio-political practice have to be worked out scientifically, and the necessary social and economic policies pursued with resolution. Any meaningful humanism must begin from egalitarianism and must lead to objectively chosen policies for safeguarding and sustaining egalitarianism”.

THE GREAT ARCHITECT OF THIS UNIVERSE:-OUR GOD IN THE HEAVENS HAS SET OUT BOUNDARIES FOR ALL OF US IN OUR LIVES AND ENSURES WE LIVE WITHIN IT`S LIMITS. THIS IS OUR CIRCLE OF BLESSINGS AND PROTECTION WHICH REGULATES EVERYTHING WE DO AND ARE TO BECOME IN THE PHYSICAL AND IN THE SPIRITUAL. NOBODY CAN TAKE AWAY WHAT THE ALM…IGHTY HAS PLANNED FOR ALL OF US IN THIS LIFE…..SJS

“Everyone is a house with four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room, every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.” “If you want to know your past – look into your present conditions. If you want to know your future – look into your present actions.” “It’s not that some people have willpower and some don’t. It’s that some people are ready to change and others are not.”

Believing that there is a supreme being call GOD. Somewhere that guides and directs our motion and emotions on earth. No Man or Woman has the power to destroy anyone if it is not ones destiny ordained by providence, directed by the laws of nature and the universe.
